January 2022 Pet Food Drive

This last Saturday we had our first Pet Food Drive of the year at the Covington Safeway!

Thanks to generous donors, we collected:

• $1202 in cash donations

• 1045 pounds of dog food and treats

• 356 pounds of cat food

• One box of cat litter

• Four boxes of diapers

A huge THANK YOU to Jonathan Ingram for planning another successful pet food drive and the incredible volunteers who collected donations. Special thanks to store manager Jim Zook for stocking the shelfs ahead of time and constantly making announcements about the drive.

Because of generous donations from this pet food drive, we are able to continue providing for our furry neighbors as well.
